Diamond Cottage Resort & Spa, Karon

During my stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet at Diamond Cottage Resort. Every morning, there was a vast selection of dishes including Thai and Western options. I loved the freshly made omelets and the rotating special of the day - one day it was pancakes, the next French toast! Plus, the fresh fruits and baked goods were a lovely start to my day.

I really enjoyed the three beautiful pool areas at Diamond Cottage. With the hotel being only at 30% capacity during my visit, I often found the pools empty, providing a serene environment to relax and swim. It was a joy to lounge by the pool with a drink from the bar, while the kids enjoyed the shallow areas dedicated to them.

I stayed in one of the villa rooms, which were a perfect escape from the busier parts of the hotel. The room was spacious and offered a lovely balcony to unwind. I especially appreciated the cleanliness and soothing décor. The beds were firmer than I expected, which took a little getting used to, but overall, it was a comfortable stay.

As a family traveler, I was pleased to find that the hotel offered great amenities for children. The pools had areas specifically designed for kids, complete with small slides. Plus, the relaxed atmosphere made it enjoyable for my children to play freely. We all had a blast enjoying our time together and felt welcomed by the family-friendly environment.
